Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing across IT, technology, professional services

and other indirect categories.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluations and commercial

negotiations.

• Manage procurement for software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, IT

infrastructure,

telecommunications, managed services, system integration and technology consulting.

• Manage strategic supplier relationships, contracts, renewals, SLAs and supplier performance.
• Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance and

business functions.

• Drive cost optimization, benchmarking, savings and total-cost-of-ownership initiatives.
• Lead commercial negotiations and ensure appropriate contractual and commercial protections.
• Support technology vendor due diligence and third-party risk management.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, governance frameworks and applicable

regulatory requirements.

• Monitor market and industry developments and identify emerging technologies, suppliers and

procurement opportunities relevant to banking.

• Develop procurement strategies that support the Bank's digital transformation, innovation and

growth agenda.

• Continuously improve procurement processes, controls, supplier performance and overall value

delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with significant

experience in banking or financial services.

• Proven banking procurement experience, preferably within a UAE or GCC banking environment.
• Demonstrated diversified procurement experience across IT/Technology as well as other indirect

and corporate procurement categories.

• Strong understanding of the banking industry, financial services ecosystem, technology landscape

and evolving market trends.

• Broad industry knowledge with the ability to benchmark practices, suppliers, commercial models

and emerging solutions across industries.

• Strong hands-on experience in IT and technology procurement.
• Good understanding of cloud, SaaS, software licensing, cybersecurity, infrastructure,

telecommunications and IT services.

• Proven experience in complex commercial negotiations, contract management and strategic

vendor management.

• Strong understanding of procurement governance, third-party risk, supplier due diligence and

regulatory requirements within banking.

• Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across technology, business, risk, finance, legal

and compliance functions.

• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Information

Technology or a related discipline is required.

• CIPS, CPSM or equivalent professional procurement certification is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

industry exposure, who understands that procurement in a digital bank extends beyond cost and

transactional purchasing.

The ideal candidate will:

• Understand the banking and financial services environment and its regulatory, operational and

technology requirements.

• Bring cross-industry knowledge and market intelligence to identify innovative procurement

approaches and best practices.

• Be commercially astute while understanding the importance of risk, governance, cybersecurity,

resilience and regulatory compliance in banking.

• Be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving, technology-driven and evolving

environment.

• Demonstrate the ability to align procurement strategies with Reem Bank's vision, values, digital first approach and long-term growth objectives.

Be open to new ideas, technologies, operating models and ways of working.

• Build strong relationships across the organization and act as a strategic business partner rather

than operating only as a transactional procurement function.

• Have the maturity and flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs and strategic direction of Reem

Bank.
