• Serves as point of contact as well as mentor for resolving complicated issues related to vendor management, contract management and category management. • Provides day-to-day leadership to team members including proactive guidance, troubleshooting support, issue escalation and support. • Identify training needs. • Organizes relevant training & refresher sessions for the team. • Ensures training & developmental plan preparation for all the team members. • Supports recruiting, staffing, training and on boarding processes as appropriate. • Assists with performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation, etc.). • Completes performance evaluations for assigned staff. • Identifies and mitigates any risks/issues that are foreseen as potential bottlenecks to the process.
