12-months secondment opportunity for an internal candidate, or a Maximum Term Contract for an external candidate Sydney location The opportunity We are seeking a contracts focused professional to manage strategic partnerships and contracts for CommBank Yello for Business, our reward and recognition program. This role is ideal for someone with a legal background or significant experience managing commercial agreements with third parties. See yourself in the team Business Banking (BB) offers a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers. The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash Management, Merchant Solutions, Customer Lifecycle Management and Transaction Banking Services frontline. Based in the Transaction Growth and Propositions team, the Propositions Crew have the unique responsibility to design, build and run the high-profile customer propositions, that enable us to take the “best of CommBank” to the market, so we can grow our leading market share and drive greater customer value. Some of these propositions include: Real Estate, CommBank Yello for Business, Tradies Proposition, Sustainability Action Tool and Biz Enquiry. This role sits within the Strategic Partnerships team, which manages the contracts for CommBank Yello for Business, our reward and recognition program. Do work that matters Drive partnership agreement drafting, and management with the support of Legal to deliver on our strategic objectives, while managing ongoing partner relationships. Work with teams across Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other key stakeholders to ensure all agreements align with regulatory and organisational requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for legal and contractual matters related to CommBank Yello for Business strategic partnerships. Work as part of the team to design and develop market leading partnerships and offers that reward and recognise our customers as part of the CommBank Yello for Business proposition. Conduct research and proactively seek out global best practice and new business partnering opportunities that will elevate our offerings. Contribute to leadership reporting and updates to measure the success of propositions and initiatives. Work closely with internal teams to agree and track key prioritised work to achieve the agreed strategy and metrics within agreed timeframes. Develop presentation materials at the highest standard, to support internal and external conversations. Regularly seek out feedback on your performance from peers, leaders and stakeholders. Contribute to a culture of high-performance, through personal accountability and creating an inclusive and psychologically safe culture. Role model culture and mindsets. We are interested in people who have Legal or legal related degree (preferred) or business degree with significant experience in managing contracts with third parties. Experience in risk management and compliance is desirable. Commercially oriented and strong business acumen preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work across many lines of business to influence outcomes.
