On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Manager Strategic Programs - Data & Analytics for a 4-month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

MANAGER STRATEGIC PROGRAMS - DATA & ANALYTICS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Management, the Manager Strategic Programs leads the development and implementation of advanced strategies aimed at improving the overall value proposition of client. This role is crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights that directly influence strategic decisions and drive significant GMV growth for the team.

MANAGER STRATEGIC PROGRAMS - DATA & ANALYTICS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience in Merchandising.
  • Experience with campaigns/promotions.
  • Experience with Data Analytics (Looker dashboards/PowerBI).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce analytics and strategy, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced data analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience in data visualization tools is essential.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage complex dashboards and reporting suites.

MANAGER STRATEGIC PROGRAMS - DATA & ANALYTICS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Extensive retail industry experience.
  • Deep expertise with Adobe Analytics (Omniture).
  • Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring junior analysts or team members.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Marketplace Growth to define, develop, and execute robust data-driven strategies aimed at maximizing GMV growth.
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to analyze the performance of sponsored ads programs and develop data-backed strategies.
  • Work with Account Managers to define success metrics and analyze the impact of Category events and experiences.
  • Lead the analysis of price gap data and collaborate with Account Managers to identify opportunities for improving price competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement analytical frameworks to assess and improve content scoring.
  • Drive the analysis of site metric reporting across the entire Marketplace to improve overall conversion rates.
  • Partner closely with the Marketplace Campaign Manager to design, build, and automate sophisticated campaign and deals effectiveness reports.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of critical weekly KPI reporting.
  • Lead the creation of automated and ad hoc business intelligence reports.
  • Proactively identify and monitor lead and lag indicators, developing strategic solutions to mitigate challenges.
  • Direct the collection, analysis, and synthesis of complex information from disparate sources.
  • Drive the continuous improvement and enhancement of existing Tableau, Qlik, and Looker reports.
