Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop/ maintain the strategic planning and performance management process
  • Facilitate and contribute to the development of strategy at ADPorts, including organizing strategy retreats / workshops with internal and external stakeholders, with the aim of developing a fully integrated strategic plan, linked to the long business plans and financial model, as well as the annual operating plan and budget
  • Facilitate the development of scorecards for the Maritime & Shipping Cluster, business units and support functions
  • Contribute to the development of employee-level scorecards in coordination with HR and the end users / supervisors
  • Develop and maintain a master schedule to track initiatives implementations
  • Issue performance reports to monitor strategy implementations across all levels / areas
  • Participate in the review all strategic, growth / diversification and financial business cases / plans including joint ventures, direct investments and disposals
  • Develop and maintain strategic issues register
  • Maintain the stakeholder matrix and management plan
  • Maintain ADPorts risk register
  • Advise on the ADPorts operating model / organizational development

People Management Responsibilities

  • Business Intelligence and Research team

  • Responsibilities: Strategic Responsibilities• Ensure that ADPorts has a sound strategic plan linked to its vision and mission, that meets stakeholder requirements, and which is aligned with AD Government vision and plans, and manage the systems to continuously review performance and take timely action to review strategy as required to enhance resultsTechnical Competencies• Strategic planning• Performance Management• Financial / business analysis• Objective setting• Risk management• Stakeholder management• Project management• Cascading• Organisational DevelopmentProfessional Competencies• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business and management, preferably with an MBA• 15 years’ experience with a track record in setting strategies, developing business plans and maintaining performance management processes• A qualification or deep experience in the Balanced Scorecard methodologyBehavioural Competencies• Leadership• Customer Focus• Focus on Results• Teamwork• Facilitation• Communication
  • Qualifications: • Degree in Business or Management with preferably with an MBA• Fluency in English & Arabic• 10 – 12 with at least 7 years in strategy and performance• Local / international
