Responsibilities - The successful candidate will lead colleagues on a diverse range of client facing projects including;
- Performance issues - Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, cost drivers, and risks across procurement, logistics, planning, manufacturing, and distribution
- Supply chain strategies - Shaping operating models, network footprints, inventory strategies, and supplier portfolios that align with our Client's commercial goals
- Cost and working capital - Reducing supply chain costs, optimising inventory levels, and improving cash conversion
- Transformation programmes - Leading or contributing to large-scale change initiatives, from restructuring supply networks to integrating acquisitions
- Stakeholder engagement - Working closely with procurement teams, operations leaders, finance, and external suppliers to ensure recommendations are adopted
- Risk and resilience planning - Helping organisations prepare for disruptions, diversify suppliers, and build more robust operating models
- Improving processes and systems - Streamlining workflows, implementing best-practice planning methods, and supporting the adoption of digital tools such as ERP, S&OP/IBP platforms, or advanced analytics
A Manager in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team will also have the opportunity to partake in business development and marketing activities and events. They will also expand their knowledge and experience by working with Managing Directors on additional topics along the value chain for Clients. Additionally, the development of the SCM team will further strengthen Interpath' footprint within the market.
- RequirementsStrong academic background (can include a Master's/PhD) with extensive experience in in supply chain consulting or project management
- Previous experience of managing multiple projects & staff on client site in addition to assuming cost & implementation responsibility
- Proven consulting tool kit including financial analysis and stakeholder management including presentation preparation and delivery
- Industry experience is advantageous
- Well-developed team management and coaching skills in often urgent situations combined with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Native or business fluent German & English (C1) is essential. Additional European languages including French or Spanish are advantageous
- Open to working on client site both within Germany and across the EU and internationally
