Responsibilities:

The Logistics/Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations within the organization. This role involves managing the movement of goods, optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of products, and developing strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. The Logistics/Supply Chain Manager works closely with various departments, including assembly, software integration, Customer Experience, Sales, Quality, Engineering, HR and others, to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain.

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs throughout the supply chain and implement KPI’s to drive productivity.
  • Oversee inventory management activities, including forecasting, planning, and replenishment, to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
  • Coordinate transportation and distribution activities, warehouse, carrier selection, and freight management, to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) from Warehouse, Purchase, Forecasting, and Productivity to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational performance.
  • Implement and maintain inventory and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage locations accurately.
  • Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, feedback and support to ensure high performance and employee engagement, cross training Warehouse employees, and be prepared to give and receive feedback for improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
