Located on the Camperdown Campus at the Faculty of Engineering Utilise your exceptional customer service skills to support academics, and assist managers navigate across university systems Base Salary, $103,185 - $111,237 (HEO6) p.a + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Engineering are currently seeking three Manager Support Officers to be part of our Navigator Team providing administrative support to staff working directly in our schools and centres. The successful candidate will be experts in University systems, ensuring compliance with university process. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage the delivery of daily administration activities and services, providing guidance to colleagues on university processes, ensuring high quality, efficient administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to staff resolve complex matters that may arise with discretion, tact and diplomacy when communicating, utilising extensive experience and knowledge of University policy and practice initiate and develop professional relationships with faculty staff, university services and other internal stakeholders and contribute positively to the team environment review processes regularly and makes suggestions to improve these where necessary. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for Manager Support Officers who have: exceptional customer service skills, coupled with the ability to identify and understand client needs, and respond to deliver quality outcomes, escalating as appropriate a proven track record using University systems and strong technical skills excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling enquiries and providing excellent customer service demonstrated high-level ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and prioritise workload during busy periods well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills.
