Role Description:
This is an Individual Contributor role responsible for delivering recruitment services to LSEG Corporate Functions including Finance, Risk, Corporate Affairs & Marketing, Legal & Compliance and the People Function amongst others through hiring manager partnering and market facing candidate management.

Role Summary:

  • End to end accountability for BAU hiring including all candidate and hiring manager engagement and interaction
  • Accountability for driving equality, diversity and inclusion outputs through hiring
  • Accountability for market engagement and representing LSEG through a personalised candidate engagement
  • Continuously learning about trends, changes, and strategic investment in talent acquisition, using SMEs across networks to drive outputs
  • Using the best of LSEG’s TA technology and AI capability to drive quality candidate shortlisting and hiring decisions
  • Champion the LSEG employer brand in the market and internally
  • Convert passive candidates into active candidates to meet talent fulfilment objectives
  • Build and maintain internal and external candidate pools / pipelines to meet current and future business talent needs
  • Utilise deep labour market knowledge to advise hiring managers on hiring decisions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands business priorities and is a trusted advisor to hiring managers and formulates talent acquisition solutions in line with business priorities.
  • Communicates market data and candidate insights effectively to validate whether business and candidate needs are being met.
  • Plans BAU recruiting activity around the hiring demand plan (including EDI) & owns delivery.
  • Communicate the sourcing strategy to central sourcing team for specific roles (where required) & maintain a regular feedback loop to measure candidate experience and success.
  • Proactively source, screen, interview, and recommend internal / external candidates to hiring managers.
  • Proactively access and update talent pools and convert passive into active candidates to help convert sourcing/talent pooling into hiring outputs.
  • Delivers a customer-centric approach by delivering an exceptional candidate and colleague experience, placing people at the heart of talent acquisition processes and services.
  • Maintains candidate engagement on current and future roles; communicating/negotiating verbal offers.
  • Actively engages & partners with key collaborators & partner teams to influence the fulfilment plan and understand the wider workforce plan, & talent nuances at division/country level.
  • Provides reporting on hiring demand and fulfilment plan, status, risks and issues, taking accountability for service quality and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborates to share standard methodologies and candidate profiles to continue improving quality hires.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

Essential skills

  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition operating in a senior capacity
  • Client facing experience within a large global organisation (in house)
  • Deep market knowledge across a breadth of Corporate Functions areas e.g. Finance, Risk, Corporate Affairs & Marketing, HR, Audit, Legal & Compliance etc
  • Proven track record of hands-on sourcing & hiring
  • Experience delivering to equity, diversity & inclusion targets
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Desirable skills

  • Experience within a CoE operating model including partnering with multi-disciplined teams
  • Experience using Workday, LinkedIn or Beamery
