MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, and 3+ years leading high-performing teams
  • Experience leading recruiting efforts in fast-paced, high-volume environments such as retail, sales, or operations—while also comfortable flexing across corporate and technical roles, including senior and VP-level positions
  • Proven success building trusted relationships and influencing hiring decisions through data, insights, and partnership
  • A track record of developing scalable, creative solutions that drive efficiency and remove hiring barriers
  • Strength across the candidate lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing complex offers
  • A deep commitment to equitable and inclusive hiring practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to flex across audiences
  • A solutions-oriented mindset and comfort navigating change and ambiguity
  • Familiarity with Phenom and Workday or similar applicant tracking and candidate engagement platforms

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Talent Acquisition team is growing at The RealReal (TRR), and we’re looking for an experienced leader to help shape and drive our hiring strategy. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a key role in building strong relationships with hiring teams, leading a team of Talent Partners, and delivering on evolving business needs.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll guide how we recruit across multiple functions, support the development of your team, and elevate our overall talent practices. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, leading high-quality execution, and ensuring that every candidate experience reflects the values and standards of The RealReal.

  • Coach hiring teams on sourcing strategies, structured interviews, and data-informed decision-making
  • Leverage recruiting data and insights to drive performance, improve processes, and ensure accountability
