Description
Lead several process workstreams through explorations, gap analysis, integration planning, execution, and problem solving Identify finance-related risks and partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate the identified risks Discuss finance/accounting concepts with others across the organization Lead and drive execution of plans and influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills Proactively engage, evaluate, and drive resolution of potential conflicts between various Finance and non-Finance functions Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Work collaboratively with workstream leads and subject matter experts to arrive at risk-based approaches related to tactical execution steps Comfort with problem solving and creative solutioning Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and within required timelines. Collaborate with external providers (e.g., EY or Deloitte) and the BPO team when the tax provision calculation is outsourced, ensuring all deliverables are submitted and conducting the initial review. Develop financial models to calculate the U.S. tax charge for the following year. Provide coaching and training to tax accountants to ensure timely and accurate recording of all quarterly accruals in SAP. Manage and reconcile SAP tax ledgers to local GAAP trial balances (P&L and balance sheet). Provide ongoing support to the tax advisory team as needed. Support local tax audits, including data sourcing and documentation for audit requests. Assist the Controllership team with tax-related deliverables for both financial statement audits and other reviews. Prepare, review, and approve tax statistical returns across all markets. Support Pillar II implementation, facilitation, and related accounting processes. Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to the wider tax accounting team. 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
