Description
Strong understanding of TP principles, OECD guidelines, and Singapore TP regulations. Monitor data from various groups within the Tax department, Corporate Accounting, and Treasury to support tax calculations. Manage process improvement initiatives to increase overall efficiency. Provide direct tax support for business initiatives, transactions, new product launches, and commercial arrangements. Manage tax controversy matters and present options for resolution. Advise the preparation of income tax returns with local tax service providers. Collaborate with other teams within the Tax department to ensure all aspects of tax have been considered. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Controllership, Corporate FP&A, Legal, and a broad group of business stakeholders. Analyze and evaluate the impact of current and proposed tax policy changes. Implement plans and strategies to mitigate tax risks and optimize opportunities. Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Law. Professional certifications such as CPA, CTA, Transfer Pricing, or International Tax Training: Specialized courses or certifications in transfer pricing methodologies and OECD guidelines are a plus. Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling. Proficiency in Alteryx, automation tools, and technology will be ideal. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SAP/BW experience a plus). Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with both local and international teams. A proactive self-starter who takes full ownership of tasks and excels in driving projects to successful completion through strong project management skills.
