TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY, YOU POSSESS:

  • Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the wealth management or financial services industry;
  • Knowledge of personal, corporate, trust, and estate tax preparation and planning;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications;

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education; and
    • Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course or Masters in Taxation.

    HOW DOES THE ROLE IMPACT THE ORGANIZATION?

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Preparation Services, you will provide leadership and expertise in tax return preparation services while providing ongoing support to the Private Client and Trust Services divisions at RJL. The position offers the opportunity to become a key resource in one of Canada’s largest markets, joining an established team of tax professionals located in Vancouver and Montreal who work together to deliver exemplary tax preparation services across the country.
    A critical objective for incumbents in this role is to enhance the client experience while supporting investment advisors and trust officers. The individual will provide tax preparation services and support tax planning services with a particular emphasis on broadening the dialogue with clients, and their overall value proposition, while assisting firm efforts to consolidate assets and increase revenues.
