Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing technical accounting research, adoption of new accounting standards, SOX compliance, and various other financial reporting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with public accounting. Primary Duties and Responsibilities · Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues. · Coordinate the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards as relevant. · Write position papers on transactions and issues, as needed · Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. · Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audit processes. · Perform periodic tests for impairment (ASC 350 & 360) · Perform account reconciliations and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance. · Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure timely filing of all financial reports. · Review US GAAP adjustments at foreign affiliates to ensure consistency and accuracy. · Lead and assist in various technical accounting improvement projects as appropriate. Management/Supervisory Responsibilities · None. Requirements Education/Experience (all required unless noted as “preferred”) · Bachelor's degree in business or accounting. · Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. · Public accounting experience is strongly preferred. · Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and technical accounting. · Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SOX compliance.
