Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Tender Management to lead and manage the end-to-end tender and proposal process. The role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, developing high-quality commercial proposals, managing pricing discussions, and ensuring timely and competitive submissions for high-value and strategic opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in tender management, proposal development, commercial analysis and stakeholder management, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, courier, transportation or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete tender and proposal lifecycle, from opportunity assessment through submission and post-submission activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Legal, Procurement and other relevant functions to develop comprehensive proposals.
- Review tender documents, identify key requirements, risks, timelines and commercial considerations.
- Develop and manage bid strategies aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Lead the preparation, review and submission of RFPs, RFQs, tenders, bids and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate pricing discussions and commercial inputs to ensure competitive and commercially viable submissions.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and support negotiations during the tender process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6–12+ years of relevant experience in tender management, bid management, proposal management, commercial management or a related function.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in logistics, supply chain, courier, transportation, freight, distribution or related industries.
- Proven experience managing high-value, complex and time-sensitive tenders and proposals.
