We are currently seeking a Manager, Tissue Services to join our team. About the Role The Manager, Tissue Services is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the Tissue Services department, developing and implementing tissue and eye recovery programs and overseeing the coordination of logistical support for tissue and eye recovery services, while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, FDA regulations, including current Good Tissue Practices (cGTP) and AATB standards. Some of the key result areas are: * Provides day-to-day oversight of clinical related activities in the areas of tissue and eye procurement. * Oversees the department’s new employee orientation and continuing education programs. * Facilitates development/implementation of systems and quality/performance indicators for Tissue Services to improve upon processes and procedures and improve recovery statistics. * Provides direction to and/or manages the selection, training, development, and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, productive, and professional work force for Indiana Donor Network. * Actively participates as a member of the Indiana Donor Network leadership team. Who We’re Looking For A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in allied health or related field, or the equivalent of education and experience required. If the employee does not have a bachelor's degree, then the employee is required to show enrollment and satisfactory commitment to the completion of the degree during the 36-month period after hire. Minimum of (3) three years progressively responsible experience in tissue banking or related field is required. CTBS certification is required. Previous management experience is preferred.
