    Manager Trainee Job Description   Reports to Operations Supervisor   Management Trainee      Location:  Danville, VA    A family owned, 126-year-old, growing retail furniture operation has an immediate opening for a motivated Management Trainee in Danville, VA. Gain valuable hands-on experience in all areas of operations as you advance along an exciting career path.     We are looking for hard-working career-minded people who are serious about making an excellent income. This is an aggressive Management Training Program with significant income potential.  Training location will be in Danville, VA   Responsibilities include:     • Handling customer complaints and service matters with consultation and approval from the store manager   • Operational leadership of the store in the absence of the store manager   • Maintain proper floor display in all areas of the store   • Maintain proper price tagging of all merchandise   • Monitor the business builder program   • Assist in making sales   • Maintain good communications with customers   • Place orders for all repair/replacement parts from vendors   • Assist store manager whenever needed     Position includes great benefits including medical, dental, paid time off, and merchandise discounts.
