POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna is seeking a talented and motivated Manager for the Reporting, Analytics, and Tools Team. This individual contributor role will focus on building and enhancing various reporting systems utilized by the Small Group Underwriting organization. The successful candidate will analyze data to provide insights and construct and maintain tools that streamline and automate processes for our Underwriters, enabling them to work at the top of their license.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or a related field, preferably within the insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong VBA knowledge
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
