About the role: The Manager, VU India Campus Operations will lead the complex implementation and program operations of VU’s new branch campus in India, ensuring operational readiness that meets the necessary high quality standards of VU and applicable regulatory compliance requirements, on time and within budget. Working under the broad direction of the Chief International Officer and closely with our Transnational Education Partnerships team, the Manager will be leading a collaborative approach to delivery with our joint venture partner. With an ambitious timeframe for delivery, the Manager will need to strategically manage multiple work streams and key stakeholders, be able to efficiently mobilise relevant VU teams and resources and facilitate productive engagement between delivery teams in India to achieve desired outcomes. This role will require you to be able to travel overseas as required. Salary: HEP 9 $132,942 – $138,314 per annum + 17% employer superannuation Employment Type: Full-time - Fixed Term (2 Years) Hours: 36.75 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Location: City Campus We want to hear from you if you have: Experience in delivering complex projects and operations in a tertiary education context Significant experience in the management of international or transnational education projects A good understanding of the relevant Australian and offshore legislation and compliance requirements Strong relationship management skills that enable you to engage with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and foster effective collaborations. Expertise in project management methodologies and reporting, risk mitigation, and budget management, ensuring that projects meet quality standards and strategic objectives. Knowledge and experience of the Indian education system and business environment is preferred.
