Come join our team to help us provide cutting edge, world-class entertainment! *** This position is on-site and hands-on, based at our Baltimore, MD-area facility *** The Manager, Warehouse Operations oversees the daily operation and organization of the company’s warehouse, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of assets that support live event and production activities. This role provides direct leadership to Warehouse Technicians and Special Effects Technicians, managing asset preparation, packing, shipping, and return processes while maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety. The Manager collaborates closely with the Asset Deployment, Engineering, and Production teams to coordinate the flow of equipment for multiple shows and projects, implements standardized procedures to improve operational consistency, and fosters a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment. Primary Responsibilities: Management & Leadership Duties: Manages a team of Warehouse Technicians Provides oversight, feedback, and coaching to assembly team members to aide in their personal and professional development Perform informal and formal reviews in accordance with company’s review process for direct reports Develops procedures and policies which help to improve the consistency and performance of warehouse operations Trains new Warehouse and Special Effects Technicians in warehouse operations processes and procedures Performs individual check-ins at intervals of one (1) week, one (1) month and six (6) months for all new warehouse team members Provides coaching and feedback to warehouse technicians as necessary Works with leadership team to administer required Compliance and Professional Development trainings for Team Members Routinely completes compliance-related training; enforces OSHA and Company-related compliance policies Warehouse Flow & Activities Inspects, verifies, and accounts for assets and their overall condition Inputs newly-acquired assets into inventory management system Performs basic inventory maintenance when necessary Works with Warehouse and Engineering teams to secure/schedule internal and external resources for equipment repairs or replacement Ensures a safe and well-maintained workspace by keeping shelves, pallets, and workstations neat and organized. Shipping & Receiving Scans all inbound and outbound assets via company inventory management system Packs gear in storage containers for shipment according to Gear List prepared and supplied by Asset Deployment Manager Receives, inspects, and stores assets returning from shows Prepares any outgoing company packages for shipment Receives and distributes shipments from 3rd parties Conducts or coordinates local pick-ups and inbound deliveries using Company-owned vehicles Perform other related duties as required and assigned Requirements Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Must maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. Participation in periodic MVR checks may be required. High School Diplomas or GED required Able to pass a criminal background check Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Experience Required Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience — live event experience preferred Minimum 1-2 years supervisory/ management experience Physical Demands Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Frequently walk, bend, squat, balance, lift and carry up to 75lbs Willing to learn how to manually repair special effects and event production equipment Forklift certification preferred; willingness to be certified to operate forklifts regularly Work Environment Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and industrial fabrication environment that is not climate-controlled; temperatures may fluctuate with seasonal conditions. The facility includes specialized areas for pyrotechnic, laser, and special-effects testing, requiring adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Exposure to loud noises, flashing lights, and particulate matter may occur during production setup, testing, or equipment fabrication. Work areas may involve welding, cutting, machining, or light fabrication activities; employees must observe proper eye, ear, and respiratory protection standards.
