What’s the role?  This is an opportunity to step into a visible and influential role within the Consumer, UNITE and Customer Operations 2nd Line Assurance team. Based in Sydney this is a full-time role with flexible and hybrid working options. You’ll lead assurance activity across business processes, products and supporting technology, helping us understand where controls are working well and where we need to lift. You’ll assess how things operate end to end, challenge constructively, and focus on the root causes that really matter. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the first line, risk and audit, contributing insights that shape better risk outcomes and support sustainable change. The role offers broad exposure across Consumer and Customer Operations and is a great way to deepen your assurance capability while building strong relationships across the organisation. What do I need? * Experience in assurance, risk, or internal audit, ideally within financial services (essential) * Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes, such as retail lending, customer operations, or product lifecycle management (essential) * Experience testing manual, automated, and technology‑enabled controls, including data and interface controls (essential) * Exposure to product governance and risk frameworks, including customer outcomes and regulatory expectations  * Strong root cause analysis capability, able to identify systemic issues beyond surface‑level findings  * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence to challenge constructively Why join us?
