Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecast Development and Analysis.
  • Utilize SAS forecasting platform to develop accurate payroll forecasts.
  • Analyze historical data to refine forecasting models.
  • Validate model outputs against industry standards and store needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting.
  • Present and defend forecasts to senior leadership and operations finance.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and insights on payroll trends.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead the team in exploring innovative forecasting techniques.
  • Mentor staff for career growth and skill enhancement.
  • Facilitate training sessions to improve team capabilities in SAS and forecasting.
  • Process Optimization and Innovation.
  • Identify improvements in the forecasting process to increase efficiency.
  • Develop adaptable strategies based on data analyses.
  • Create contingency plans for unexpected forecasting deviations
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance of existing, and implementation of new, engineered labour standards utilizing MOST (or similar) methodology
  • Design and conduct time and motion studies for the development of engineered labor standards and process re-engineering activities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to determine the impact to the organization resulting from revisions to engineered labor standards, SOP changes or implementation of pilot programs.
  • Act as an internal consultant by developing and maintaining relationships with business partners, gain an understanding of their business processes and vision, and present and influence stakeholders with recommendations for process reengineering
