Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Workforce Planning & Talent Technology plays a vital role in advancing the University of Maryland Medical System’s talent strategy through two key focus areas: workforce planning and talent technology administration. This role is responsible for leading system-wide workforce forecasting and headcount planning while also serving as the functional administrator for the Phenom talent acquisition platform.
The manager collaborates with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, Finance, and Operational leaders to align workforce planning efforts with business goals and ensure that talent technology supports a scalable, data-informed recruiting strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business, HR, Analytics, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent operations, or talent technology administration
  • Demonstrated experience administering a recruiting platform
  • Strong understanding of recruiting workflows, headcount planning, and talent metrics
  • Experience working with or within healthcare organizations strongly preferred
  • Proficient in creating dashboards and system-level reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and training skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
