ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and support key financial transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a finance technology professional with deep expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, who is also comfortable interacting with C-level stakeholders and leading global SAP implementations.
If you have a strong foundation in general accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), experience with SAP New GL, and enjoy translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, this is the role for you. Experience with S/4HANA Finance is a significant advantage.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax, and baseline CO.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP New GL and preference for candidates with S/4HANA Finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and their implementation in SAP systems.
  • FICO lead on 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Sub-module lead on 5–8 SAP projects, delivering across various industries.
  • Experience managing distributed teams and working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore).
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in consulting services or fast-paced project environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact confidently at executive levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with experience building and guiding collaborative teams.
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and share knowledge across the team.
  • Open to feedback, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel weekly based on project needs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage full lifecycle implementations (FLC) for SAP FICO modules, acting as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Design and define organizational structures and chart of accounts to align SAP configurations with global financial reporting and operational needs.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, ensuring alignment with IFRS/GAAP compliance standards.
  • Work with multi-national corporations to support intercompany processes, eliminations, and financial consolidation scenarios.
  • Manage both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and cross-functional teams.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders, including C-level executives, to provide strategic input and direction.
  • Stay current with SAP innovations, particularly around S/4HANA Finance and other emerging financial technologies.
  • Travel weekly to client sites as required for project delivery and collaboration.
