POSITION OVERVIEW

The role will have client delivery and practice development responsibility, supporting Wipro’s Digital Consulting business unit. The objective is to deliver and grow Digital Finance propositions in existing accounts, identify and build business with Wipro clients and attract new clients to Wipro based on Finance Transformation propositions.
This role will also have responsibility to support the qualification of opportunities with existing Client Partners and Account Director teams and to develop account growth strategies and execute on those strategies to win Digital Consulting projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in Finance transformation with a background in one or more related solutions below:
  • Process: Able to lead month end close transformation, including knowledge of processes and tools, including reconciliation automation
  • Technology: Working knowledge of enabling technology to support Finance process and organisational transformation
  • ERP - SAP and Oracle, including S/4HANA Finance
  • Point solutions – Blackline, Trintech, Hyperion
  • Regulatory and Compliance: Understanding of impact of wider changes such as IFRS, Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting on finance process, organisation and technologies, and guiding clients through the necessary changes
  • 10+ years’ experience with Finance Transformation consulting within a management consulting environment, or equivalent internal client role
  • Successful track record of achieving and completing transformation and advisory engagements within a major clients and geographies, across several industry sectors
  • Ability to work across IT and Business stakeholders to develop enterprise demand generation and value propositions
  • Design and Implementation of finance close enabling tools, e.g. BlackLine or Trintech, automated workflow, at the strategy and implementation levels to address issues facing month end close and reconciliation processes.
  • Past experience of Oracle, SAP S/4HANA or other ERP solutions would be beneficial, especially in blueprinting design phase
  • An effective communicator, able to provide excellent leadership and motivation for the team whilst working effectively as a team player with the sales and delivery teams
  • Relevant qualifications including MBA, BA, Prince II, MSP, MBB, Agile, BB, GB, CIPS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, Six Sigma, Lean

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing and inter-personal skills are critical
  • Experience as Finance Director/Controller of a division, unit, or area would be helpful

Responsibilities
  • Client delivery and/or direction of Finance Transformation projects which include, Process transformation, Technology enablement, financial compliance trends and Hyper-Automation transformation.
  • To maintain effective working relationships with clients at all levels including Project team and strategic levels, CxO and CxO-1 where appropriate
  • Work closely with client partners, account directors, account managers, and other Wipro teams to develop existing and prospective accounts
  • Develop proposals, value propositions and thought leadership to create demand generation and business development activities based on industry trends, client situations or future visioning
  • To provide other staff in the team with effective leadership and motivation during client engagements and pursuit
