What You Will Lead & Deliver 1. Own the Country Growth Agenda • Define and execute the country strategy aligned with regional and market segment objectives. • Identify opportunities and translate them into actionable plans with clear milestones. • Integrate marketing, innovation, and technical services to strengthen Azelis’ specialty value proposition. • Deliver Principals’ market implementation plans and KPIs (growth, purchase value, volumes, project pipelines, etc.) 2. Lead and Grow the Customer Portfolio • Deploy commercial resources to optimise market coverage and cost efficiency. • Build strong, strategic relationships with key customers and principals. • Expand the customer base and drive cross selling opportunities. • Ensure excellence in sales effectiveness, pricing discipline, customer segmentation, and satisfaction. • Embed data driven decision making across commercial processes. 3. Deliver Financial Excellence • Achieve country level targets across EBITA, GP1, GP1%, and ROWC. • Monitor key financial indicators and act decisively to ensure sustainable performance. • Balance topline growth with margin expectations to maximise GP1. 4. Support Regional M&A Initiatives • Build relationships with potential acquisition targets and maintain country level M&A target lists. • Actively participate in due diligence. • Lead post acquisition integration, ensuring synergy realisation and business continuity. 5. Build & Empower High Performing Teams • Attract, develop, and retain top commercial talent. • Lead with entrepreneurial spirit, ownership, and accountability. • Ensure execution of HR and People strategies at country level. • Foster a culture of engagement, continuous learning, and excellence. 6. Uphold Governance & Compliance • Represent Azelis with professionalism at official and industry related events. • Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies. • Implement strong governance frameworks and internal controls. • Champion Azelis’ values and ethical standards across all stakeholders. What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Chemistry, or related field. Experience: At least 10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in the specialty chemicals sector. Proven success in customer‑centric value creation and value‑added distribution within multinational, matrixed environments. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high‑performing commercial teams. Strong history of P&L ownership and driving outstanding financial results. Strategic Expertise: Deep understanding of commercial strategy, pricing, segmentation, and innovation‑driven growth. Digital Fluency: Comfortable using CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., D365 CRM, Power BI).
