Location: Indianapolis, IN Reports to: CEO | Principal Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision Define and execute the brokerage business strategy to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion Serve as a visible industry leader, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor and competitive force within the commercial real estate market Model company values, culture, and ethics, fostering collaboration across business lines Partner with senior leadership to establish annual business goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives Collaborate with leaders in other markets to identify and capture cross-market opportunities Talent Development, Recruitment & Succession Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing brokers and sales professionals to build a market-leading team Coach, mentor, and empower brokers to achieve success, encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative spirit Drive succession planning initiatives to strengthen long-term leadership pipeline and business continuity Organize and lead sales meetings, training programs, and workshops that inspire innovation and accountability Champion a culture of high performance built on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the brokerage team Business Development & Sales Production Actively engage in brokerage production, leading by example through deal generation, negotiations, and closings Build and expand strong client relationships through networking, industry involvement, and community leadership Identify cross-selling opportunities across service lines and collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions Serve as an ambassador for the firm in local, regional, and national organizations to strengthen brand presence and attract top talent Operational Excellence & Financial Accountability Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets Ensure financial discipline through regular reporting and oversight of accounts receivable Drive consistent year-over-year growth in revenue, EBITDA, and margins under variable market conditions Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring execution of business plans and measurable outcomes Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and brokerage practices, including but not limited to the review and approval of listing agreements Be a flexible and proactive leader, ready to take on new initiatives that support the firm’s overall success. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field preferred 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate with proven success in brokerage production and leadership Active Real Estate Broker License in the designated market, or ability to obtain within the required timeframe Demonstrated track record of building and leading successful sales teams Skills & Competencies Strong and effective leadership, with the ability to motivate and influence others through coaching, mentorship, and vision-setting Critical thinking abilities to assess, synthesize, and communicate complex issues and solutions Exceptional client relationship management with demonstrated success building long-term partnerships with institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients Excellent communication skills, including ability to deliver compelling presentations, reports, and strategic documents for clients and executives Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting and forecasting Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while fostering internal collaboration across teams Why Join Our Team?
