JOB SUMMARY:
The Tax Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) Product Management Managing Director leads the product lifecycle for proprietary technology solutions supporting the tax practice and delivery of services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax and technology product development with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products used to enable the delivery of professional services.
The Managing Director coordinates with the tax practice and software development team to set the strategic direction for creating and implementing technology to meet the needs of our clients and professionals and oversees a portfolio of products.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration or Computer Science, preferred
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or J.D., preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Twelve (12) or more years of experience in tax and/or technology product management, required
- Six (6) or more years of experience in tax, preferred
- Six (6) or more years of experience in technology product management with a track record of successfully launching and managing product, preferred
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, partnership taxation, and individual taxation, preferred
- Experience with process design and/or improvement, preferred
- Experience serving in a product management/product owner role for enterprise grade tax applications that support the delivery of professional services, preferred

- Strong organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Able to effectively manage a team of professionals and delegate work assignments as needed
- Able to encourage team environment on projects and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and all members of the product teamStrong executive presence with the ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $250,000 - $380,000
