OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Partner to lead our North Conway location with a focus on serving our team members, and a passion for excellence in food service management and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a managing partner at Cheese Louise you have earned the opportunity to operate a Cheese Louise restaurant on your own and share in the financial success of your location. You will be uniquely responsible for ensuring that your location is operating to the standards laid out in the Cheese Louise operations manual and ensuring that the values of Cheese Louise are being upheld by you and your team. Our expectation is that if you are offered this position you will be fully capable of achieving the primary objectives of a Cheese Louise restaurant without the day to day operational support of the leadership team.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in food service management where you are the leader or as an Assistant Manager in a similar environment.
  • Strong background in hospitality with hands-on experience in kitchen operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team member development and training.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices in food production.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Building a leadership team within your restaurant that manages the day to day operations of your shop. This could include any combination of the following roles (AGM, Shift Leaders).
  • Have your restaurant’s schedule published at minimum 6 weeks in advance at all times.
  • Cover shifts yourself when necessary such that you never need to close the restaurant due to callouts.
  • Running payroll every week, must be completed by 5pm on Tuesday
  • Weekly GM report completed by Tuesday at 5pm.
  • Update the weekly statistics spreadsheets.
  • Oversee the ordering of food and paper goods ensuring that we do not run out of supplies and that our COG’s is less than 25%.
  • Ensuring that SPLH targets are hit each week by managing the schedule well.
  • Hiring team members using our hiring process and submitting the hiring documents used each time you make a hiring decision.
  • Overseeing the training of new team members using the training guide and submitting the training guides upon completion.
  • Promoting team members in order to keep the restaurant fully staffed and training them using the training materials provided for each position. Submitting the completed training documents each time they are used.
  • Conduct reviews with your team every 4 months using the Cheese Louise review template.
  • Monthly check-ins with the corporate leadership team.
  • Monthly meetings with your team.
  • Scheduling and organizing team-building activities at least once every 3 months with an annual budget of $1000 for these activities.
  • Ensuring that the facilities are kept clean and organized and communicating with the facilities team to ensure maintenance and repairs are done in a timely manner.
  • Disciplining and if necessary terminating team members using the card system and termination documents.
  • Coordinating monthly sandwich specials with the operations and marketing teams- Ordering supplies and providing the team with the recipes. Updating the digital menus.
  • Cash management: Depositing cash every week, making sure small bills are stocked in accordance with change policy.
  • Communicating standards and expectations laid out in the Cheese Louise Operations manual with our team members through discord.
  • Selecting an annual Cheesin’ For A Reason partner organization that we will partner with and overseeing the Cheesin’ For A Reason program at your shop.
  • Communicating operational changes and updates though discord.
  • Look for opportunities to grow revenue through promotions, events, and in-store efforts.
  • Build the Cheese Louise brand in the community through Cheesin’ For A Reason, promotions, sponsoring events, participating in business groups, and looking for opportunities to use the resources of Cheese Louise to benefit the community.
