JOB SUMMARY

The Managing Partner (MP) is a leadership position that sits on Impression’s Senior Management Team and reports into Impression’s Commercial Director with dotted line reporting for performance and strategy responsibilities.
The Managing Partner holds ultimate accountability for Account Performance, Account Retention, Account Growth & Account Profitability of a large portfolio of accounts.
You will work alongside your senior and junior account teams in a client pod structure to ensure that the very best client strategies are developed and implemented and that your client portfolio experiences exceptional levels of revenue performance and client experience.
You will manage a small team of direct reports that include a team of Client Partners (account sales), Client Strategists, and Project Managers to help you achieve your objectives. You will also have indirect management responsibilities over the full breadth of performance teams that make up the client pod for which you are accountable.

Responsibilities
  • You will ensure your pod of accounts is challenging best practices and implementing innovative and forward-thinking marketing strategies that help our clients to beat their competitors
  • You will hold executive sponsorship responsibility with our biggest clients’ most senior stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with Impression’s Sales and Marketing teams to ensure you grow your net new business revenue through your pod’s marketing and pitching activity.
  • You will work with Impression’s People function and Divisional Performance Directors to identify skills gaps of your performance teams and support the business with its training needs to ensure our clients retain the best digital talent the industry has to offer.
  • You will manage up to 3 Client Partners to ensure we build strong and meaningful relationships with our clients and that Impression grows each account through mutually benefiting consultative selling. Your CPs will drive value through the successful renewal of accounts.
  • You have direct line management responsibility for management responsibility for the Client Partner as well.
  • You will have accountability for a small team of project managers who will ensure Impression delivers work profitably, on time and per our client’s expectations.
  • You will work closely with Impression’s Ops team to ensure your pod is well-resourced and achieves agency GP targets
  • You will be indispensable, a strategic advisor and build on the value Impression has to offer its clients beyond the activity it delivers.
