Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor working across Scotland and the North.
Balfour Beatty Highways maintain, manage, and operate major highway networks across the UK and support local authorities creating communities where people want to live work and play.
We provide high quality asset strategy, management, and planning consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector customers.

What you’ll be doing

What you’ll be doing

  • Use the company’s ERP and Digital Systems
  • Orders information and systematically checks data
  • Preparation of Cost reconciliation statements
  • Build up estimates from first principle including net and gross estimates
  • Measurement of works and agreements with subcontractors
  • Plan commercial activities to meet requirements of section programmes
  • Collation of Cost and Value Information
  • Record and document information including registration of interest

Who we’re looking for
Who we’re looking for

You will have the following:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent knowledge
  • CSCS Card (Academically Qualified/Professional Qualified Person)
  • MRCIS/MCInstCES/MCIOB or working towards them
  • Civils, Infrastructure or Highways projects experience helpful
