Introduction Be a Key Player in Stock Investment & Asset Management Team We’re searching for a driven Managing Quantity Surveyor to guide a skilled team in delivering the financial and commercial success of major and planned construction projects. Oversee all contractual and financial elements of large-scale projects Support executive leadership with your expertise in contracts and construction, preferably in Social Housing Manage tenders from documentation to contract award Report on cashflow, contract variations, risks, and opportunities Produce monthly valuations and forecasts for project reporting If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering results, join us and help set new standards in the field. Apply today! What’s the role Lead contract letting, negotiation, and financial accounting processes. Manage and mentor Quantity Surveyors and commercial support staff. Foster effective communication between commercial and operational site teams. Collaborate with Corporate Procurement, Legal Services, and Finance to meet procurement needs. Ensure accurate monthly forecasting and resource/cost management. Maintain deadlines in accordance with the monthly commercial calendar. Provide reports to the various programme boards. You will be keen to get involved in content creation, including directing messaging, editorial and tone of voice. Liaising and supporting service-based content editors to ensure webpages are accurate, kept up to date and serve our residents well, will be what you excel at, as well as having great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people. Location The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
