QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS

  • Fluent speaking in Mandarin and Cantonese
  • English & Maths GCSE A*-C or equivalent
  • Self-motivated
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Typing speed of 50 wpm+
  • Knowledge of the house building industry (desirable)
    Pay: £12.60 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Telephone Research, Multi-lingual Telephone Researchers are responsible for conducting customer satisfaction surveys over the telephone in Mandarin/Cantonese/English with customers in China. We predominately work with UK based house builders, speaking to their customers after they have moved into a new build home. You will have excellent telephone and customer relations skills and be able to hold conversations with a variety of different customers in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

The successful candidate will be an outgoing, confident individual who is passionate about customer service. You will have excellent spelling and grammar skills and be able to type at least 50 words per minute on a standard keyboard. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing customer satisfaction surveys over the telephone to capture the voice of the customer in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
  • Work independently and as a team to meet deadlines
  • Entering customer feedback in real-time into the company database
  • Engaging with customers to extrapolate how they felt about their buying experience
  • Take ownership of Mandarin/Cantonese specific projects to ensure key targets and measures are met
