Description Provide accurate interpretation between Mandarin and English for technical discussions, meetings, and training sessions in the manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and robotics domains. Assist in bridging language gaps between Mandarin-speaking team members and English-speaking counterparts to ensure smooth collaboration and understanding. Work closely with project teams to convey technical information, specifications, and instructions accurately. Support communication during 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, adhering to a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on). Requirements Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Background in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or robotics to facilitate precise interpretation of technical terms and concepts. Proven experience as an interpreter in technical and engineering settings. Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adhere to a 2-2-3 schedule throughout the project duration. Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Bachelor's degree in language studies, engineering, or related field preferred. Previous experience as an interpreter in manufacturing or engineering environments is highly desirable. Certification in interpretation or language studies is a plus.
