We are now seeking a Mandarin Speaking Marketing Manager who can take ownership of our marketing strategy, drive ROI, and shape the brand voice across multiple channels. This role is both strategic and hands-on — you will design the plan, manage the execution, review the results, and lead the team to deliver measurable growth.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally with healthcare, wellness, or consumer brands.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (must) and business-level English.
  • Strong background in marketing planning, data analysis, and ROI optimisation.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms across both Western and Chinese markets.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, campaigns, and cross-functional projects.
  • Creative thinker with analytical discipline — able to balance storytelling with performance results.
  • Leadership or team management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & ROI Management
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans aligned with company goals.
  • Define budgets, forecast ROI, and allocate resources across channels.
  • Track campaign performance, analyse data, and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
  • Produce regular marketing reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Brand & Content Leadership
  • Lead content creation for official platforms (website, WeChat Official Account, newsletters).
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling that resonates across both UK and Chinese audiences.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar and ensure quality content delivery on schedule.
  • Digital & Social Media Strategy
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Douyin/TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Monitor performance metrics, audience insights, and engagement trends.
  • Guide both paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Influencer & Channel Partnerships
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with KOLs, influencers, and media channels.
  • Design collaboration briefs and track campaign impact.
  • Build sustainable, long-term influencer and channel relationships.
  • Event Planning & Cross-Market Engagement
  • Plan and deliver regular offline and online events (e.g. clinic salons, health talks, cross-industry collaborations).
  • Oversee full cycle from planning to execution, ensuring strong participation and brand impact.
  • Support culturally relevant campaigns tailored to the Chinese-speaking community in the UK.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and mentor junior marketing team members, setting clear KPIs and providing training.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Sales, BD, and external partners.
  • Foster a performance-driven and innovative team culture.
