Job Description During your internship, you will actively support the planning and execution of exciting research projects in the field of additive manufacturing (L-PBF). A key focus will be on the system integration of an automated data workflow (Monitoring System). You will also work on the development and optimization of relevant materials to improve their properties. Furthermore, you will independently plan and conduct experiments, analyzing and measuring the products in terms of microstructure, density, and topography. Finally, you will provide valuable support in beam diagnostics (caustics). Qualifications Education: advanced studies in the field of Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable Experience and Knowledge: strong Python skills (including database systems, data workflows and data analysis libraries); system administration experience (Shell); proficiency in software testing (Pytest) and version control (Git); knowledge of Linux and Microsoft systems; practical knowledge of additive manufacturing Personality and Working Practice: you excel at communicating effectively as a team-oriented player while maintaining a structured and independent work style Work Routine: your on-site presence is required Languages: fluent in German and English Additional Information Start: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required) Requirement for this internship is the enrollment at university.
