Khuxi Corner is seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Manglorean cuisine Executive Chef (Should be able to do both North and South Indian/Chettinad authentic Cusines) to join our team at our vibrant food court stall. The ideal candidate must have strong culinary expertise in traditional Indian dishes and be able to handle high-volume orders efficiently.
Executive Chef specializing in authentic Mangalorean cuisine to lead the preparation and presentation of traditional coastal dishes. The chef will ensure high-quality food, consistency in taste, and innovation while preserving the authenticity of the region’s flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present authentic Mangalorean and Chettinad dishes such as:
  • Chicken, Fish, and Prawn Gassi
  • Neer Dosa, Sukka, Puli Munchi
  • Prata, Chettinad Chicken/Mutton Curry, Pepper Chicken, Kozhi Varuval
  • Nattu Kozhi Kuzhambu, Fish Fry, Crab Masala, Mutton Chukka
  • Vegetarian dishes like Kara Kuzhambu, Kootu, and Chettinad-style side dishes

. Tandoori chicken, fish, and prawns, Seekh kebabs, malai tikka, paneer tikka

. Naan, roti, kulcha, and other tandoor-baked breads

  • Develop a menu that reflects coastal Karnataka and Tamil Nadu flavors with seasonal and local ingredients
  • Plan daily schedule and manage prep work
  • Maintain food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards
  • Oversee kitchen operations during assigned shift
  • Ensure food safety (SFA guidelines), cleanliness, and allergen compliance
  • Control wastage, portion sizes, and stock rotation
  • Supervise kitchen staff, train junior chefs in traditional techniques and plating.
