JOB TITLE: MACHINE SHOP OPERATOR – HORIZONTAL BORINGOVERVIEW

An established engineering company is looking for an experienced and motivated Machine Shop Operator to join their team. The role focuses on operating a conventional horizontal boring machine, along with other workshop equipment.

BONUS SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• Experience with a Kerns Richard SH75 or similar machine
• Forklift truck licence
• Overhead crane operation experience
• Knowledge of safe working practices in a machine shop

Experience:

• Manual Horizontal Borer: 3 years (preferred

• Set up and operate a horizontal boring machine
• Produce parts from engineering drawings
• Maintain accuracy and work to tight tolerances
• Inspect and measure your own work
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Contribute to process improvements and team efforts
