COMPANY OVERVIEW: Turbine Weld Industries MRO, provides service to airlines, overhaul facilities, hot section shops, parts distributors, owner/operators, etc. We are a leader in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, known for our commitment to quality and precision. Based in Venice, Florida, we specialize in the repair and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6, PW100, and JT15D hot section components.
SUMMARY: The Manual Machinist will operate and maintain various machine tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A Shift is 5-8 Hour days Monday through Friday.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment for proper operation
- Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure precision and quality
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate manual machines and mills

- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree
- 3+ year of relevant/technical work experience OR
- An additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
- Maintain an orderly and productive work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of manual/technical machinist experience
- 5+ years of welding experience
- Former CNC machining experience
- Formal machine training.
