  • Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components as per specifications.
  • Capable of holding tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Employ hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy in machining tasks.
  • Document and report inspection data, deviations, and completed work in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Conduct assembly tasks as required, ensuring all components fit together correctly.
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and tools to ensure reliability and safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment following lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and legislation, including participation in regular safety training.
