SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the repair and maintenance of industrial AC/DC electric motors and generators by operating manual machine tools and balancing equipment. Precision and the ability to read technical drawings are essential to success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience as a machinist in electric motor repair (preferred)
• Skilled in using micrometers and other measuring tools
• Proficient in manual lathe operation (various sizes)
• Experience with electro-plating equipment is a plus
• Strong math and mechanical skills
• Ability to follow instructions and retain training
• Open to overtime and weekend work as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Operate manual equipment including engine lathes, horizontal lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and more
• Safely operate overhead cranes, gantries, forklifts, and rigging tools
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and vibration tools
• Follow established safety procedures and service center standards
