Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machine Operator to join our team in Brampton. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone with strong mechanical skills, hands-on machining experience, and a serious commitment to quality and safety. Experience using micrometers and verniers is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manual machines, including lathes, mills, drills, and tapping tools
  • Measure components with micrometers and verniers (must-have)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Perform machine setups and monitor production quality
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
  • Use hand tools and measurement equipment safely and accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work with steel forming systems, crimp rods, and conveyor belts (asset)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Machine Operator
  • Proven experience using micrometers and verniers
  • Solid understanding of machining and mechanical systems
  • Familiar with machine shop tools and production processes
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Valid forklift license is an asset
  • Setup experience, crimp rod, and conveyor knowledge are assets
