JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire one manual machinist milling & boring mill. Successful candidate will have the opportunity to explore new challenges such as tighter tolerances and different dimensional specifications. We are looking for an individual that can work independently and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 Years experience with Manual Vertical Milling Machines & Horizontal Boring Mills
• Extensive Jobbing shop experience
• Experience with Steel, Aluminum, Plastics
• Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Drawings
• Works will with Minimum Supervision
• Ability to handle large parts 500lbs + with overhead crane
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Must be a team player
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Perform each essential duty with precision and with little supervision
• Read blueprints and/or sketches of part to determine final product
• Review specifications to determine set up procedure, machining sequence and dimensions of finished product
• Perform final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
• Work at a sustained pace and produce quality of work
• Ensure workplace is maintained and tidy
