Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Manual QA Analyst with strong accounting/finance domain knowledge to join our team. This person will own the testing lifecycle for all product features, ensuring accuracy, stability, and compliance across both business and accounting modules. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in manual testing with a solid understanding of accounting workflows to validate business-critical features, conduct regression testing, and safeguard product quality. Key Responsibilities Own and execute end-to-end manual testing for all system features, including accounting modules. Perform regression, sanity, and smoke testing for each release. Translate business and accounting requirements into detailed, executable test cases. Validate financial calculations, reporting, reconciliations, and workflows against accounting standards. Maintain and update comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, regression checklists). Identify, log, and track defects clearly, ensuring timely resolution with developers. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and accountants to ensure alignment on requirements. Proactively identify gaps or inconsistencies in requirements or implementation. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with accounting and business teams. 3–5 years of manual QA experience, preferably in finance, accounting, or ERP systems. Strong knowledge of accounting concepts (ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, financial reporting) Proven ability to design and execute regression and sanity test suites. Skilled in documenting and maintaining test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Experience working with Jira (or similar tools) for issue tracking and test management. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills to explain issues in both business and technical language. Nice To have Background in accounting or finance (degree or professional experience). Experience testing ERP, financial software, or accounting systems. Familiarity with SQL for data validation. Exposure to automation concepts. Key Attributes Acts as a business SME for accounting features. Takes full ownership of testing across releases. Able to balance business knowledge with QA discipline. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering bug-free releases.
