What You Will Do Execute End-to-End Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of core platform features, intricate APIs, and third-party integrations. Investigate & Localize Issues: Dive deep into devtools, system logs, and databases to pinpoint, analyze, and document complex technical bugs. Shape QA Strategy: Collaborate closely with the engineering team to evolve, champion, and implement advanced testing strategies across the platform. Own the Defect Lifecycle: Manage, track, and oversee defects within JIRA from discovery through to successful resolution and verification. Support Seamless Releases: Actively facilitate the release management process, ensuring stable and reliable deployments. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Developers, DevOps, and Product Managers early in the lifecycle to identify potential risks and elevate overall product quality. Mentor & Elevate the Team: Coach junior and mid-level QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement. What You Bring Proven Expertise: 4+ years of professional software testing experience, with a heavy emphasis on backend testing and a profound understanding of client-server architecture. API Testing Mastery: Strong hands-on experience validating REST APIs and parsing JSON using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent. Advanced Database Skills: Solid SQL knowledge, including the ability to write complex queries, manage joins, and manipulate data directly. Test Documentation Ownership: Demonstrated experience defining test scopes and crafting flawless Test Plans, Test Cases, and Checklists. Analytical Mindset: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a scientific approach to problem-solving (e.g., traffic analysis, log diving). Tool Fluency: High proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. Communication & Language: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English proficiency with the exceptional verbal and written communication skills required to collaborate with architects and product leaders. Bonus Points if You Have Experience with, or a strong willingness to learn, test automation using TypeScript. Hands-on experience with Mobile testing (iOS/Android). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tools. Previous experience utilizing Allure TestOps for test management.
