SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled individual for the position of Manual Soldering Technician at our Toronto location. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality electronics that align with our mission of exceeding customer expectations. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with the use of microscope.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly documentation
  • Good knowledge of MST/TH or Mix Tech assemblies as per IPC A-610 Standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines for shipping of products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • MUST have working electronics experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Prepare, solders, and inspect all levels of electronic components onto Printed
  • Circuit Boards (PCB’s) according to specifications, product, and customer requirements
  • Perform SMT and thru hole hand component soldering to IPC standards.
  • Lead forming of different types of electronic parts Using hand tools ad automatic equipment.
  • Understanding of PCB assembly drawings and related documents; ECN’s, assembly instructions.
  • Perform in process inspection using microscope
  • Ability to touch up, rework, and repair of thru-hole components and surface mount components ( all component types ) and modify printed circuit boards and/or assemblies to required specifications.
  • Ability to demonstrate rework skills with de-soldering station/equipment, soldering iron, soldering removal tools, and hot air gun
  • Provides guidance and training to lower level Soldering Operators.
  • Has an advanced understanding of PCB assembly processes
  • Work with leaded and lead- free solder.
  • Maintains department specific records.
  • Support other department when needed
