In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects. Responsibilities: Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect‑tracking tools Work closely with developers, product owners, and BA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defect resolution Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices Provide regular test status updates and detailed test reports. 4–5 years of proven experience in Manual Software Testing Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC Excellent knowledge of testing types and methodologies Hands‑on experience with test case design techniques Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Good understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Good to Have (Preferred Skills) Exposure to API testing (Postman or similar tools) Knowledge of basic automation concepts Experience testing web‑based and/or enterprise applications Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALM Life @ ProArch At ProArch, we believe our people are the key to our success.
