Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Understand business requirements, especially within the Insurance domain, and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and system testing Identify, log, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA Prepare and maintain test documentation using Confluence Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and defect triage meetings Ensure timely delivery of high-quality testing outcomes Skills & Competencies Strong experience in Manual Testing (3–5 years) Prior experience working with Insurance domain projects (mandatory) Experience working with QA teams in Insurance companies is a plus Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes Domain-Specific Requirements Proven experience in Insurance domain testing (mandatory) Familiarity with insurance workflows, policies, and systems ISTQB certification is mandatory
