Job Description Job Role: Manual Tester Experience Range: 2-3 Years Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Mode) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Tester with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This is a hybrid role, requiring both remote work and in-office presence as per business needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes, results, and defect reports. Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks within project timelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2-3 years of proven experience in manual software testing. Minimum 1 year of experience in Automation testing. Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various software testing methodologies. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
