For over 35 years Apex Hydraulics have been producing specialised, high end, bespoke and low quantity projects for the fluid power industry.
With the benefit of a large and well-equipped hydraulics workshop, Apex offers a complete in-house maintenance, repair, and machining service for all hydraulic equipment.
We are seeking a Manual Turner to work within the modern in-house machine shop facility in Dewsbury.
Required to produce mainly 1 off items to be used within the companies own cylinders. Ideally the candidate should have previous experience on NC lathe work, screw cutting, working to samples and reading detailed drawings.
Some small batch work also 1 -10 offs
Able to self manage, work to schedules and willing to work overtime when required.
The job is for a full time post but part time will be considered for the right candidate.
39 hours per week full time
Monday - Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 15:00
